Time out with Babel
Caught up all too briefly with one of me bestest buddies, David Nerlich and his partner, Charlotte.
Before taking me to the airport we had a fine ales at the Waterloo Hotel, touted the oldest remaining pub in Sydney.
David lived above the Shepherd & Newman Building, seen here at the rear, in East Sydney for some 14 years.
We played there in 1980-ish with Klang Klang, a precursor to David's collaboration with guitarist, David Woods. The Tension Nuts released two cassette albums.
