Indigenous Women's Conference via RealAudio
From May 29 and June 1, the Indigenous Women's Network (IWN) Third Biennial Gathering is be held at Alma de Mujer near Lake Travis. Monsterbit Media is broadcasting a series of keynote addresses from the conference site. These LIVE Internet broadcasts feature a variety of Indigenous human rights activists from the Americas and the Pacific Basin.
IWN was founded in 1985 to support the self-determination of Indigenous women, families, communities and nations, in the Americas and Pacific basin. Their philosophy of working within the framework of the vision of their elders, grounds their strategies with centuries old wisdom and encourages them as they prepare for our common future.
