Secure Transaction Information Available

RSA Data Security has launched a new Web site designed to increase public awareness and understanding of the Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) protocol, which was developed to enable secure credit card transactions over the Internet. The SET Central Information Site provides information for developers and vendors, the news media and analysts, and others with an interest in secure e.commerce payment applications. The site also provides a review of the security design provided in SET, discussion of the underlying RSA and DES algorithms, FAQs, and information about how to implement SET applications.
