Fierce Throat first performed at 'Trance Plant', a two week multi-performance art installation held in a disused power station in Brisbane, Queensland, August 1994.

Its second performance was at 'Where are the Silences', September 1994, an evening with the choir and Persian poet, Ma'mma'd Aidani, Fitzroy Gallery, Melbourne.
