Contact Centre Heats Up
The Contact Centre is gearing up for Action Without Borders (October 18-25). This initiative will use the Internet to organize and coordinate a global week of action which cuts across borders of geography, issue, race and language. People and organizations around the world will be invited to get together and take action on the issues that concern them.

Also from the Contact Centre, a new searchable directory of public Internet access sites around the world (schools, libraries, community centers, Internet cafes, etc.). The Contact Centre site also contains an interactive system enabling organizations - both on and offline - to enter, describe and update detailed information about their specific services, volunteer opportunities, internships, job openings, upcoming events, and any material they have produced.
